BONFIRE BEACH

Bonfire Beach was recorded at Limelight Studio in Dickinson, Texas by Don Westmoreland. The title came to me when my friend, Pete Fredriksen, and I were reminiscing about the beach on Galveston Island where local schools used to celebrate Homecoming Week bonfires, before the EPA wisely put a stop to the practice. The romance, however, can’t be stopped. The beach’s current name is Apffel Park. Thanks to Nancy Dunn, Patty, Jenny, and Dawn for their vocals work.
